This thread is open to anyone! I wrote it to refresh my Rp skills. So go ahead if you wish.
Ryumo groaned as his alarm clock rang. Ring, ring, ring was all it did. It was a harmless wake-up call, but also a reminder of his day....and job. He jumped in the shower as usual and reviewed in his mind the schedule for today. Get Kun's cake and fill out the interest reports on the nukes, while doing his regular job as a psychologist.. Sure. Loyalty is the best way to keep his job, right. He dried ff and did his morning refreshments, brushing his teeth, washing his face, all of it. He looked in the mirror and realized how succesful he actually was. Ryumo put a small smile on his face and got dressed. He wouldn't bother with breakfast, even though he had heard it's the most important meal of the day. He locked his house door and climbed into Audi V8, turning on one of his motivational songs, "Crooks and Rooks" by a man named Bambu. He drived past houses, some of people he knew and some not. He recognized Dairou's house, with his bright pink paint on the roof. Ryumo could never quite figure that out. He pulled up to the TAS Incorporation, parking in his employee space. Being an assassin was hard, but working with the people that were soon to be assassinated was also hard. He had developed close friendships with many, but he knew that in the back of his head, they would die. He held off their days as long as he could, but he felt he couldn't do it for much longer. He walked past Mishiko's office, Kun's office, his nemesis Kasai's office. Wait. Kun's office! He walked back and wrote a small note that read: " Kun, The cake will be done soon. Don't worry I won't forget. Ryu"
Ryumo walked to his own office and sat down. The phone rang and he answered it quickly. "Hello?......yes.......yes sir I know......the next target is who?...but sir you know that I...can't you reconsider sir?....*sigh*....yes sir...... the mission won't be failed.....goodbye sir." Ryumo hung up and layed his head into his hands. Dairou. Why Dairou? He paced back and forth considering whether or not he should betray his friend. It was an order, and Ryumo knew the punishment for disobeying orders. But Dairou was a friend. He......had to do it. Ryumo got onto his laptop and sent Dairou an e-mail that read: Dairou, Please come to my office as soon as possible. Ryu" Ryumo put on his black leather gloves and removed his silenced TEK-9 automatic pistol from it's case. This would have to be quick. He didn't wan't to do this, but it was his job.....well...........other job. He sat and waited.

"RYUMO!" The screech echoed through the semi-quiet TAS building as Kas dashed through the hallway, making her way to Ryumo's office from her own. Consequently, the entire trip took about five seconds, considering her office was right there by his. "Ryumo!" She said again, somewhat quieter, as she slammed open the door to the assassin's office and stuck her head in. For a minute she just stood there, looking at his gloves with a curious glance. Then, she looked up at him and put on a huge grin. "Hullo, Ryumo. Good morning. I wont keep you, I can see your getting ready for a job. I was just wondering..." She lowered her voice slightly, "have you seen Kasai anywhere? He escaped again this morning. I'm sure he must be running around here somewhere...he likes to dress up and act important." Kas's grin faded into an angry scowl. "The stupid character...doesn't realize he's nothing-NOTHING-without me. I've told him time and time again to stay home in his room. But he never listens! Oh, he is so in for it when I find him!" She growled once more, and then, true to her bipolar nature, smiles again. "So, have you seen him, old buddy, old pal?"
~Meanwhile, in another part of the TAS building, Kasai wandered around, the short firebender dressed up in a smart, gold-bordered suit. He smiled and nodded at a random worker. "Hello, good sir, good day." He said, his face appearing even more feminine with the smile.

Ryumo's eye twitched as Kasai burst through his door uninvited with a panicked expression on her face. SHe was chattering on something about her counterpart, who's name happens to be Kasai. Apparentyly, she wanted to know where he was. Ryumo was about to answer when he realized that she was looking at his hands. The hands holding the pistol. Ryumo sat there for a while, thinking of some sort of unneeded distraction. "Well......I haven't seen your 'character' for a while......well.....I've NEVER seen your character before. But, uh, I'll be on the lookout for him." He slowly put down the gun and put a wide smile on his face. This is not working out, he thought. He got up and walked towards Kas, taking off his gloves. "Actually, since my 'client' hasn't arrived yet, I'll go and look for you...er him...... Kasai...whatever." Ryumo cleared his throat and straightened his tie. It just seemed as if conversation with Kas was funny, yet necessary. Or maybe he just had trouble talking with women. Whatever the problem was, Dairou still hadn't arrived yet, and he was bored. No kills in three days can do that to an assassin. Ryumo turned to Kasai and spoke. "I guess...we should alert some of the other employees. Maybe Kun knows where Kasai is...he seems to know a lot these days." Ryumo opened the door and made the "after you gesture" to lead Kasai out. At least he knew today wouldn't be boring.

OOC: Kas and Kasai are different people. Kasai is Kas' male rping character.
"Got it... Will do... No, that not necessary. I've got it all under control." Shu flicked his mobile phone shut with a crisp movement. He had been talking a researcher working with the probabilistic logic network. According to the man, using the Finagle's corollary to Murphy's Law, they found out that some of TAS employees were going to be murdered by a man inside the company today. As usual, there was a shortage on staff capable of dealing with this kind of situation so Shu would have to deal with it himself.
Shu sighed. Then closed the novel he was reading and put down his reading glasses on top of the desk. This was all too much work for him, the researcher should have at least told him who were the people predicted to die or who was the murderer. A more accurate time gap for the event would also be helpful. Wishful thinking from Shu, despite knowing all too well the limitations of the precog department. He then got up and walked around his office. How would he prevent people from dying and find the murderer at the same time? He didn't know and to make matters worse, he didn't know how much time he had to ponder on the topic. For all he knew, it could be a matter of minutes before it happened. He had to make haste. So, he walked back to his desk and quickly keyed a few characters to his computer.
Lime-Kilo-Delta-November-049.
Then he hit the "Enter" button. Effect immediate. Every window and every door had closed and locked down, with additional security, unavailable under normal circumstances, activating. Adding to it, Every security camera had been turned out and now not even an ant would be able to move without it being recorded into the company's central super computer. Using security measures and secret codes to this extent was one of the perks of being him. He had devised most of the functions, systems and passwords of the company, even the custom security measures and secrecy with which they were kept. This lock-down "mode" for the company's headquarters was one of his creations. Now that almost every worker were trapped in their offices, the rest being isolated in corridors and the security cameras taping; it would be nearly impossible for the murder to take place. Even if it did, the criminal was sure to be caught.
Using his augmented bending, Shu vaporised his locked door away with a snap of his arm. He would then head down to Kas' office to get her help to track down the criminal. Under normal circumstances, he would get Velox's but since the man was in vacation and so were Kai, Raven and Rei, Kas was his next best choice. The problem was that it would take him a while to reach Kas since he would have to melt away all the reinforced steel doors that had locked down each and every corridor as well as walk down the long flight of stairs separating the floor he worked in from Kas', since the elevators had too been shut. While he walked, he grabbed his mobile and messaged the situation to Kas, telling her to remain in her office until he arrived. Once this message was sent, he sent one to the security department, telling them to keep an eye on every camera and track every single worker's movements.

As Ryumo lead Kas outside, he heard a strange clanging noise. The hallway leading to all of his fellow workers' offices had suddenly become dim. The windows were being locked. From the outside? No, not possible. Someone would have to have direct remote control of the whole TAS Inc. building, which would take at least a couple of months to get priority. This was being locked from the inside. But why would TAS be put on maximum security on a normal work day, especially after recieving such a large amount of weapons from customers. There was no threat. Except..... Ryumo groaned and cursed himself. He grabbed Kas and pushed her into his own office and locking the door. He prayed she would forgiv ehim for two reasons : One. She would be mad at Ryumo for him locking her inside of his room, considering all the weapons he had. Two. The mission he had been given for some of the TAS employees. Ryumo tucked the silenced pistol into it's hidden holster and glanced upwards. The security camera was trained directly on him. Damn. Damn, damn, damn!, he thought. He thought about the employees who had direct access to security until he landed on one specific name. Shu. This was ridiculous. Why hadn't Ryumo thought of this before? He should have gotten rid of him first. But wait. His secret assassination orginization moniters Ryumo and everyone around him's movements. They......... Ryumo's eyes widened. They already knew. This was a freaking set-up! Ryumo unlocked his office door and scurried through, waving his hands at Kas as if to say "Sorry!". He gathered two of his knives and three of his machine guns and strapped them to his jacket and walked back out. Thank god for employee keys. He locked his door and ran down the hallway. Only to run into another camera. Well.... It didn't really matter now.
Ryumo pulled out his phone and immediately redialed his assassin master's number.
"Hello Ryumo." "You lying son of a-" "Let's not get to angry now. What is it that you want?" "You freaking lied to me! This was a set up from my last kill! When have I ever failed you?!?" "The last assassination was succesful. However, remember the intel I gave to you before the mission?" "Yes. What of it?" "Ryumo......someone got ahold of that information. So... according to us, you don't exist. You have to be eliminated. 7 of our best assassins, under you of course, have been sent to kill you. Make your mind up now." "You won't get away with this. I'lll kill the all. And you." "Keep talking Ryumo. The more you talk, the faster they get there."
And with that, the man hung up. Ryumo threw his phone across the hallway, hitting one of the cameras. He had a highly lethal security employee supposedly after him, and now he was wanted dead. No........it wasn't going down like that. Ryumo loaded his guns and shook his head. He was getting out of here.

At about the same time that Ryumo was storming, heavily armored, from his office, the small phone in Kas's pocket vibrated, alerting her to a message. Still trying to decipher Ryumo's rather odd behavior, Kas removed the phone and flipped it open. Her eyes scanned the message, she swore under her breath, and she walked from Ryumo's room to her own. Luckily, none of those heavily armored doors seperated the two, seeing as they were only a few offices apart. As she walked, she kept her eyes on her phone, her fingers almost a blur as she wrote back a reply.
I might have seen your culprit, there, Shu. Ryumo left in a hurry, and he has a lot of weapons in his office...and now on his person. I'll meet you outside my office, I wasn't in it to begin with.
Kas pressed send, then flipped the phone shut and returned it to her pocket. She had made it to her office, and intending to wait for Shu, she was now leaning against the wall next to her door. She cursed again, under her breath, thinking that this whole situation couldn't get worse. She was now shut off from the rest of the building, and she still hadn't found her wayward ward. The disobedient character would probably destroy something before she found him now. Or else he would talk to someone else, a little too much. It was all a lot of trouble.

Somewhere within the giant headquarters of TAS Inc. a series of screams could be heard amongst the lockdown that had now taken place in the building. One of the employees, Kun Ning, the C?O of TAS Inc. was conducting an investigation/interrogation/intergration/inspirational/institutional/ irresistible session with many of the TAS employees in a large dark room. He had tasked himself with testing the loyalty of the mindless drones of TAS. It was a very important job, well…it was to Kun anyway, and he took his job seriously.
“Now, let’s try this again…” Kun lifted up a flash card with the letter A on it and showed it to all the restrained TAS workers, “What letter is this?” Kun stared with seriousness at the employees squirming in the chairs in front of him.
The few TAS employees that hadn’t been gagged shook with fear, because they had been blindfolded, making it impossible to see the crazy man’s card. The other employees that hadn’t been blindfolded had been gagged, so they couldn’t speak, but they could see. There was a fearful silence in the room before one of the blindfolded workers spoke, “A…A?”
With a giant smile Kun revealed his Mod Paper Fan of Doom, and raised it in the air high above the head of the employee that had answered. The employees that could see began to shake in their chairs in an attempt to move themselves away from the mad man. “Wrong answer,” Kun brought the Paper Fan across the side of the employee’s face, causing the person, and their chair to fly to the left and into the hard wall. The employees that could see stared in horror at the mess that was now on the wall. “That’s what happens when try to play mind games with me…” Kun laughed a little, a cruel grin coming over his lips as he did, “Let that be a lesson to all you smarty pants who think you’re smarter than me!”
Kun was very fortunate to have the entire building on lockdown. He didn’t want to think what would happen if someone caught him working. He wasn’t too sure that his methods would be approved of by some of the other staff. He couldn’t be blamed for what he was doing though, after all, he was the C?O. He was simply doing his duties and testing the TAS workforce’s loyalty. He mentally patted himself on his back for being such a good TAS C?O and cheerfully went back to teaching TAS employees about loyalty. “Let’s try this again! What letter is this?!”

IC:
While Shu was practically flying his way down the stairs his phone trembled. He had received a message. This called for a mush desired break as the man was already tired and drenched in sweat. So, he sit down on the staircase and took the phone from his pocket. After opening it, he read the message Kas had sent him, which came across as a surprise. He wasn't expecting for Ryu to be the one who was going to kill his co-workers. As far as Shu could tell, Ryu was social and had made a decent number of friends in the company, nothing that indicated a reason for murder... or assassination. Going a bit deeper in his own memory, Shu remembered reading some files about the personal lives of his employees and reading about Ryu's second job as an assassin. At the time, this hadn't bothered him since it was common place for the company's workers (a good number of which were criminals, psychopaths or any sort of misfit) to have a second, shady job. With him, it was ok as long as it didn't interfere with the company's work. Sadly, in this case, it would. Therefore, Ryu couldn't be allowed to continue.
There was a problem though. Despite having rushed down a lot of floors, Shu was still fifty floors above Kas' office. It would take him forever to reach her floor. So, he walked out of the staircase on the floor he was in and made his way towards the nearest elevator. Or rather, the nearest elevator shaft. Taking the elevator wasn't an option but taking the stairs would require too much time. There was a faster answer. He could just fall his way down. So, with a burst of searing flames he melted the elevator door away and dove into the shaft, past the cables. He would have to time it right. The fall was long and he would be falling very quickly so if he didn't want to come off in the wrong floor, he would need to be pinpoint accurate. Barely managing to count the floors as he fell, once has only ten floors above, he shot flames downwards to slow down his descent. While he was slowing down, he wasn't anywhere near stopping, so he also grabbed one of the several cables in the shaft when he was just three floors above. While he managed to stop just in time, the friction of his hand with the cable almost burned away his skin, making him release a grunt in pain.
Like he did many stories above, while still holding on to the cable he shot flames towards the elevator door to try and melt it away. Once this was done, he hopped onto the floor and made his way past a handful of steels doors, taking the shortest route to his co-worker's office. It took Shu a lot of sweating and a couple of minutes but he managed to reach the woman, who was by the wall of her office.
"Hey, sorry for taking so long... I'm getting a bit too old for this." Shu excused himself and chuckled, between the short and heavy gasps of his panting.

Ryumo breathed heavily as he ran down the hallway from his office. Suddenly he heard second footsteps behind him. Apparently the footsteps weren't too close for comfort, so Ryumo darted behind a corner. He held his gun near his face and peeked around the corner. His eyes widened as Shu strolled up to Kas's office. How the heck did he get here so fast... no matter. Ryumo continued walking down the corner hallway, when suddenly a dark figure materialized in front of him. Particle upon particle came together and Ryumo gasped as he recognized the figure. It was an apprentice whom he had trained. Nevertheless, an assassin. "Ryumo, I know you're more experienced than me, but that doesn't mean that I haven't learned any new tricks." Ryumo fell silent, sweat trickling down his forehead. They both stood there in silence for a moment. Ryumo nodded and unscrewed the silencer on his pistol. The gunshots would draw either Shu or Kas to the scene, and that's exactly what he wanted. The slender silencer clanged when it met the ground. The assassin drew ten small daggers, one for each finger. Ryumo bent his knees, ready for action. At once, the assassin threw all of his daggers, which wasn't very smart. At the very moment, Ryumo dashed forward, firing shots at the daggers. The bullets connected and the daggers stuck in the wall in a row. The assassin groaned and drew a small sword, slashing at Ryumo. Ryumo dodged the blade attacks easily, and then suddenly bringing his fist crashing into the assassins face. Apparentyl, he hadn't taught him enough. He felt a bone collapse under his fist. The assassin drew back and stabbed wildly at Ryumo. Ryumo twisted his hips, spinning to avoid each attack. One attack came dangerously close to hitting Ryumo's stomach. Ryumo knew he was running out of time, for soon more assassins would come. He had to end this."I'm sorry Seiki." Ryumo flipped forward, his feet crashing into the assassin now known as Seiki's chest. Seiki fell to the ground, with Ryumo on top. Ryumo put his pistol to Seiki's head and frowned. "It shouldn't have had to end this way." Ryumo pulled the trigger and a strangely louder shot echoed through the hallway. Seiki's eyes whitened as his blood splattered on Ryumo's face and the floor. Ryumo sighed as a tear came to his eye. He straightened his body as he rose. He had a sneaking suspicion that someone was behind him and they had seen this monster inside of him. But......it seemed as if everything was over now. He wanted out of this second job. But he knew that if he surrendered, Shu or someone else might kill him. It was very possible, even if he was an exceptional assassin. He looked at the corpse of Seiki and the bloodied floor. Ryumo nodded as he covered the head of the fallen assassin with his own hood. He wanted to turn around and look for a witness, but.........he didn't. He walked down the hallway slowly and sadly, ashamed of what he had done. He suddenly broke into a dead sprint, knowing this had to end someway and somehow. Ryumo didn't know who else could be on his tail. He'd only hope his fellow friends and comrades would forgive him for his deadly job. Maybe they would, and maybe the wouldn't.

Kun slowly began to tap his right hand’s forefinger against his head. His face wore a serious, thoughtful expression, as if he was trying to figure out the mysteries of the universe. The silence in the room could only indicate that he had either finally tested all the employees, or they were hoping he had forgotten about them and didn’t want to remind him they were there. Kun stood staring at the door that was the exit to the office, it was sealed shut, and though he had counted it as a blessing he was now beginning to realize that though people couldn’t get in to disturb his work, he couldn’t get out. “Well this isn’t any good…” Kun mumbled examining the door.
Kun sighed and turned away from the door, now facing the employees. His right hand was now away from his face and venturing down into his lavender coat’s pocket. After a moment Kun held a sheet of papers in his hand and began shuffling through them. “No, no, no…” he looked up from the paper at someone in the restrained group but then quickly when to searching through the papers, “no, no, no…aha!” Kun looked up and stared directly at a woman who had been blindfolded. “Name Lees Parson?” Kun slowly approached the bound woman, “It says here you’re a technician, mechanic, and all around wiz when it comes to anything with metal.” Kun watched as the woman nodded, though it could have been her just shaking as her captor circled around her. Kun threw his stack of papers at a random bound man, knocking him over in the process. “Good! Then you know how to get past these metal doors, right?” The woman nodded, but it was a very slowly, unsure nod. It would have to do. Kun untied the woman from her chair and removed her blindfold, “Okay, Name Parson, show me whatcha can do!” Kun pushed the woman at the door.
“Well…I’ll try my best…” Name said moving over a little on the wall and opened a hidden panel full of wires, and other things. She took a deep breath and then began working on trying to open the door.
Meanwhile, Kun was busing playing paddy cake with one of the blindfolded men. Smacking a person in the face a bunch of times and blaming it on his lack of sight was fun. Kun laughed and continued to play while waiting for the door to become unsealed. “I’m sorry,” he said to the blindfolded man, “I can’t see very well with this blindfold on!” He let out a cruel, giddy laugh that made everyone in the room cringe. “This will be fun until the door opens!” He continued his abusive game while waiting for Name Lees Parson to open the door.

Kas looked blankly at Shu, her mind whirling. There was really no use in arguing Shu's age...did someone who lived so long really get 'too old' for anything? Ah, well, that really wasn't the important thing right now, was it? The important thing was...well, Kas wasn't really sure what it was, actually. She figured it probably had something to do with hunting down Ryumo, though. Or just otherwise doing whatever Shu wanted. Speaking of which, she should probably greet him before she thought she was weird. Of course, he probably knew as much already anyways, but it was good not to deepen the impression.
As her eyes seemed to snap back into focus, Kas rather looked like someone who had only just realized that something stood in front of them. Blinking twice as if to clear her head, she looked at Shu and beamed.
"Hi Shu!" She exclaimed. Noticing the man's panting, her grin creased slightly, although it never faded completely. "Don't pass out or anything. I'm not qualified to deal with stuff like that." Of course, she knew better than that. The day Shu passed out from a small bit of exertion was the day she looked out for the seven horsemen. "So...what do we do now?" She asked, tilting her head at him and waiting for his orders.
OOC: Sorry for the shortness, guys.

OOC: YAY!! Kas posted! XD
You know what I always say, better a short post than no post. On another note, I hope your studying is going alright.
...So, it's my turn, ain't it?.
IC: "Now? We find Ryumo and keep him from killing God-knows-how-many people. Honestly speaking, I hate having to hunt down someone who works for us but it's not like I have a choice. I either do this or the life insurance of Ryumo's kills are gonna come out of my pocket. And my pockets aren't as deep as people like to think they are... Anyway, I wouldn't have bothered you but you the policy, it's a two men (or women) team for any "field" job and my usual partner is on leave." Shu replied once he caught his breath. He hadn't noticed Kas' absent minded moment but even if he did, he probably wouldn't have cared. It would be by far the least awkward thing that people around here do. Never the less, he couldn't help but laugh when Kas told him not to pass out.
"Now that I remember it, we could also take the chance to check up on... what's his name... Kun Ning? I've been reading some strange reports on the guy, mentioning some sort of sick, sadistic activity... Figured we could as well shed some light on the subject." He added. When he was speaking, he had to stop and think to recall Kun's name as he was naturally very bad with names. Since the two hardly ever met, it was hard for him to remember the person, let alone the name.
Having finished all he had to say, he tilted his head to the left, and shifted his gaze to that direction, to a corridor nearby. It wouldn't do them any good to just keep chatting and remain idle on the same spot. They had work to do and the sooner they finished it, the better.... This promised to be one messy day... Then he moved his sight back to Kas and said, grinning. "Ladies first."

:OOC: Yes! Time to continue this long lost story. I hope my existing RP skills are still here, and I hope you like it. Ryumo continued to run down the hallway, keeping an eye out for any more assassins that might be headed for him. Apparently, he didn't look to well. A buzzing noise was heard hurtling through the air until it ended with a thud in Ryumo's right shoulder. Ryumo yelled out and fell face first onto the floor. He turned his head as much as he could to see the large dagger portruding from his shoulder. This was bad. Another hooded figure that he did not recognize at all walked slowly up to his being. "Ryumo," the figure began," the rules of the Orginization were as follows: do not betray the orginization for any reason, do not fail the orginization for any reason, and do not reveal the Orginization to anyone for ANY reason. You have broken the last rule, and we cannot let you walk away. You must be erased. No one must know about you any longer. You must be obsolete." Ryumo groaned and maneuvered his body so that he could pull the dagger out of his shoulder, but the figure reached down and pulled it out quickly. The figure pulled down it's hood to reveal a woman Ryumo's age with blue hair and blue eyes. Ryumo shook his head as he recognized an assassin with skills that matched his own. Maki. Ryumo stood himself up slowly with his good arm and looked at a girl he once loved. "Maki...... don't do this. We were friends and more, remember?" Maki nodded. "Yes, we were friends when you were apart of the Orginization. But you have neglected your duties by working for yourself." Ryumo glanced at his bleeding shoulder wound. He looked back at her and spoke. "Since I've been gone, you must have become-" Maki interrupted. "The best. Yes, only since you have left. I am the last one they sebt. They sad that if you can beat me, then they must take drastic measures. Unless you surrender....." Ryumo looked in her eyes and saw something he'd never seen before. Mixed emotions. Love, guilt, anger, and fear. All in one. He finally understood. She didn't want to do this. He didn't want to either. He never wanted to hurt anyone he cared for. "Fight me, Ryumo," she said softly with a small hesistant crack in her voice. Ryumo shook his head sadly as tears streaned down his face. "No. I won't." Maki cried loudly. "You have to! It's what you were trained for! I've seen how well you kill. You can't resist it and you know it! Don't try to play tough guy with me! I know you better than anyone ever could, even Master.... " Ryumo knew this was all true. He was born to fight, and he figured he would die fighting. "Maki, love is a strong thing. I won't fight you." By this time, Ryumo had forgot about his gaping wound. Maki ran at Ryumo with tears whipping behind her like an oasis. "Do what you must!" Ryumo's instinct grabbed her arm and pushed her own dagger into her chest. Ryumo closed his eyes and hugged the dying Maki. As the blood dripped from her mouth, she hugged him with love. Ryumo hugged her tightly until his blue hair sank and her body fell limp. Ryumo sniffled and gritted his teeth and fell to the floor with love in his arms. Now, he truely didn't care if he was caught. Ryumo.........wanted to go home. He sat there still. He just wanted to go home......
