I got 2 things to say.
nº 1: This thread is only to discuss the bending levels, nothing else. Yukiko, Ren and Kun, don't stray off topic. Pointless posts like that will be deleted. We only want feedback and ideas here, we don't want to have to filter through junk. You got the rest of the site for that, don't let me catch you repeating this. We're quite serious about feedback and ideas and the last thing we want is for people to get random or personal in here. Stick to the topic.
nº2: @Yukiko: there is only one master level. If you're a master, you've mastered everything, there are no master sub-ranks. If there were, it would defeat the purpose of calling them masters in the first place. Blue Firebenders and the like aren't master ranks, they're special ranks and aiming for such a rank is nothing but a waste of your time. We'll be the ones deciding when and if people (namely exceptional people) get such things.
@Zoya: Yes, you can't start as a flat out master. Your initial level will depend on the profile. You not only need to be of an adequate age and have gone through an adequate training but you also need to have an exceptionally good profile to be anything more than a beginner. There would be no purpose in having tests if we just awarded ranks left and right.
And for everyone, the tests will naturally escalate (possibly exponentially) in difficulty as you level up. Despite the different standards, it has been agreed that the test for a master is going to be extremely difficult. We just can't have 20 or 30 masters going around, now can we?
What we're asking you to do is to come up with ideas for the requirements for the tests. We can't have people taking tests whenever they want and I'm sure everyone has had their fill with a system that runs on posts. So think up a different method to be eligible for a test. Or a different system. Up to you.

Well this is an anwserr to Kai's first system.
Q 1) Well a -prerequisite for the master test could be that you have to be on the site for a few months and the mods have notcied the quality of your posts and the you act well towards others, and that you help around the site with advertising, new ideas, and you know stuff about the avatar universe Also you could treat the master rank like you treat being a mod, maybe there is a test, but you can't ask to take the test. Only the mods can deem you worthy and p.m. you about taking the Masters test.
Q2) I think people can understand the restriction on bending powers and try to stay within them. On TAS V1 the bending level page was pretty clear on what you can do with your bending level. So Yeah
