Okay, guys, Kai and I have finally gotten into work mode, which probably isn't what you want to hear considering the site was supposed to be done a while ago, but there it is. To make things go faster and to keep everyone with something to do or anticipate, we're here to talk plot.
The plot for v1 is, essentially, being scrapped. We need ideas for things to keep the site fresh and interesting. We're going to be taking everything you guys come up with into account, and we'd like there to be some sort of consensus, though, of course, we have the final say in what the plot will look like. We want you to keep a few things in mind:
1) We're keeping aspects of v1, including characters, so there has to be some correlation with the old plot. We're not going to randomly jump into a completely different era in the Avaverse. 2) We want you to think about what different groups will be controlling this plot; this doesn't have to be a clear black-and-white "I love the Avatar ftw" and "I hate the Avatar die!" sort of division, rather groups that would influence politics in the Avatar world. 3) Things that interest you, just - we want this to be interesting and new. We didn't take a break this huge to come back to a forum that's the same. You can also make suggestions for things that aren't explicitly plot related here, because Kai and I want to know.

I dont really have any suggestions at the moment, ill leave that to the members, but do you know if we are still doing the time skip? I havent really obtained a clear answer if we are truelly doing the time skip or not (though I did notice that kai included it as part of his profile, so as of the moment I am assuming a yes)

Argh - I had a rather long, well-explained detail of what Kai and I discussed with Atrus and Kas written out, and my computer ate it, because it hates me. I'll post it tomorrow; you guys can discuss that or continue adding comments in the mean time.

Ideas people, IDEAS! Not... wait. Atrus and Kun I almost forgot about the long conversations we've had yesterday. XP
Velox, I thought we would be doing the time skip, but there are certain issues I think we need to figure out before we have a final say so, like how to deal with people expecting level ups and so fourth. XP

My computer ate the entire conversation I had with Chaz and Atrus yesterday. Did someone manage to save it, or do we have to go off of what we remember?

I had an idea for a group a long time ago, but I forgot it. I did tell Kai and Shu, but maybe they forgot too... It had something to do with the group's desire to end the war and remove all the boundaries of the nation, so that the people of all nations could inhabit the world peacefully.
Also my other "desire" is still up in the air maybe?

Don't worry about getting it up super quickly, Atrus, so long as someone has it. I'll steal it from you whenever you can post it and save it in my notes, just not having that whole conversation was making me antsy.
Velox - other desire? I might just be really dense right now, but elaboration?

I think in regards to plot, the features as the Airbender genocide, with little survivors should remain, as well as the conflicts within the 4 nations, so not just 3 nations vs fire. All the nations should be seperated so to speak. That way the plot can drag a bit, Allowing the Avatar to re-connect the 4 Nations.

That wasn't Velox's post it was mine. An easy mistake....We are both good looking, but try to remembember I'm a girl.
Anyways, if you wanna know, I'd suggest asking Kai. Ii still haven't got a definite yes or no from him. Until I do, I'm assuming it's still up in the air....
Also, I like Velox's idea of keeping the airbender genocide with few survivors. We're pretty much the only two airbenders on the site, and Ii think it can be explained fairly easily that we were just descended from the surrvivors.

Well I did a lot of research last night, up until this morning and I think I've come up with something decent. I want you guys to tell me what you think. So I was watching a lot of youtube videos about conspiracy theories and New World Orders and the Illuminati and so fourth. Then it hit me, and I discovered what I wanted to be the bad guys in our plot. This may be a bit confusing for those of you who didn't participate in our mod convo, but try to keep up. So I think I remember discussing some sort of occult... spirit worshipers. Judging by Koh, I would imagine there are spirits who are not so nice... right? I then had Kun write up a plot, and I thought it had some interesting plot elements. So I combined what me and the mods were discussing with Kun's idea. I think I've come up with something fresh and different I hope you all think it will be interesting. It's really different, but I put a lot of effort and research into it. So hopefully it's worth my while. Ok so Kun's plot has to do with the age of peace being disturbed, brought on by a sect, a group of people who wish to reshape the world. They manipulated bandits and barbarians and what-not to create chaos in the smaller, poorer, provinces in the Earth Kingdom while the richer provinces prospered during an age of restoration. I've decided that since we are post-war... I think, that the ruins of Taku were restored and re inhabited, and Gaoling expanded into a city. So the four major provinces I'm working with... I don't know their names. xD Let's just use their cities name. So the four provinces I'm working with are Ba Sing Se, Taku, Gaoling, and Omashu. The poorer provinces are... everyone else. XD ANYWAYS, so the rich provinces get all the attention while the poorer provinces don't... and they get picked on by bandits and barbarians until they finally organize into small armies and restore order to their lands. And now that they have an army, they want to get back at the provinces that neglected them, so they stop giving them resources. The rich provinces get mad, they threaten them, smaller provinces don't care. So then war breaks out between the two. BOOM! Civil war in the Earth Kingdom. I made two plot factions out of this story. Well technically I stole one of them for Kun, but he'll understand. Ba Sing Se, Taku, Omashu, and Gaoling form The Earth Kingdom Alliance, or "The Alliance" for short. The poor provinces form together to make The Earth Kingdom Liberation Uprising, or "The Uprising" for short. (Don't laugh at my names) XD So then, you know, civil war. The Fire Nation decided to help The Alliance because they figure a civil war would hurt their economy as well, and then they get into fights with the Water Tribe over resources, and yeah. Now you got a world war. Now to the good stuff. Ok so all this conflict is actually being orchestrated by the sect I was talking about. I came up with the name, The Daigo. Daigo means enlightenment. Hmmm... sound familiar? So the cult has come into contact with spirits from the spirit world that I call the Akki. If you do some research, the name won't surprise you. So these spirits are bad. But since the Daigo become somewhat like their worshipers, they "bless" them with knowledge and power. Through this knowledge and power the sect figures out a way to open up temporary and weak portals to the spirit world, that allow SOME Akki to enter into the world and cause havoc. Now this is all part of a bigger plan the Daigo has to bring down all the nations with the help of the Akki and create a new single nation, under one rule. But who is this ruler of the new world order going to be? Well the Daigo are supporters of the Akki, and so I decided maybe the Akki has a powerful spirit that leads them. So I created Iyashima. Iyashima wants dominion over the physical realm... I think. To be honest I don't know what his general purpose is yet but let's just run with dominion over the physical realm XD. The Daigo thinking humans are incapable of ruling the world in peace anymore think that this is a GREAT idea. Who wouldn't right? Divine spirit that can deceive you vs. imperfect humans. Oh yeah, lets be smart and pick the divine evil spirit who knows just what to say. Boy, just like a politician! So their plan for the new single nation involves the Avatar somewhere. What they want to do is permanently link the spirit world to the physical world, allowing Akki entrance to the world, and more importantly allowing Iyashima into the world... permanently. To do that they need to imprison the Avatar spirit within the spirit world, permanently keeping the bridge between the two realms open. This may inevitably destroy the avatar spirit, or at least halt the avatar cycle. So anyways, that's not the WORST part of it. With trouble brewing in the world and a small number of bad-ass spirits bring chaos and havoc wherever they roam, the people of the world begin to wonder just WHAT exactly is going on. So another group of people decided they want to fight whatever dark forces the Akki's are. Now I named this group the Spirit Hunters. So this wonderful group has put two and two together and come up with the idea that the Avatar is of course the bridge to the other side, so it's HIS fault and HIS fault only. So what is their solution? Find him, and execute him, and hopefully the avatar's link to the other world as well. That will stop the Akki from entering the physical realm. And now we have a plot that is infested with lots of issues that people are going to have to solve. We have an occult trying to orchestrate a war between all the nations and inevitably weaken them to their very core, so that along with the Akki they can take over the rule of the world with one single nation. And yet we have another group who thinks eliminating the Avatar will save the physical world. Sounds like a doosey. So can the Daigo be stopped in time? Can the Avatar show his face in public and not get captured by the Daigo for the evil little scheme, or get killed by Spirit Hunters who believe he is the cause of the Akki infestation? Will he ever be able to convince the world that he isn't the one to blame and that they should focus on the REAL evil at hand? Will he be able to lead the world back into peace when it's already ripping itself to shreds while a secret organization watches with a smirk as they slowly weaken the nations? And then... we have to take the focus off of the Avatar for a bit. After all, not even the Avatar can take on an issue this big. There's also the fact that he has to try and convince someone to have his back and help him thwart the plans of the Daigo. *sigh* What a beautiful conflict. I'm extremely tired... I stood up all night thinking about this. And for some reason my tiredness has equated to the excessive sarcasm I used in this post. Anyways I hope you all get the general gist of it. I've created a few notes as well as a full story explaining everything I just said and more. If you want to read them then PM me.

Wow, I've missed a lot. But anyways, I like the plot that you've created. It, for sure, is interesting, but don'tcha think it's just a bit too much? I know I'll probably be branded as extremist but still. That plot would involve a lot of NPC's and a lot of active members which, sorry to be brutal but we frankly just don't have AT THE MOMENT. (notice, that I say at the moment) I'm not saying that it'll never work, I'm just saying for right now, it seems as if it would just be a lot of work in general and just executing it. I mean, we all have lives too.
Anyways, that's just my opinion. Feel free to do whatever you want. Just wanted to put something out there.
